CMS Extends Deadline to Review 2014 PQRS Performance Score

CMS Extends Deadline to Review 2014 PQRS Performance Score

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) plans to publicly report performance score data for a subset of 2014 Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) measures later this year. Group practices and eligible professionals have until November 16 to preview their data as it will appear on CMS’ Physician Compare website.
CMS will first release performance data on select measures reported through the Group Practice Reporting Option (GPRO) Web interface or via claims by individual providers. Step-by-step instructions on how to preview data are on the CMS website. Inquiries or concerns about measures data can be sent to the Physician Compare Support Team. Please note that performance scores for PQRS measures reported at the group level will only be published on a group practice’s profile page, not on the profile pages of individual members of that group. If you have questions, e-mailqualitydc@facs.org.
