Submit your Stories of Success! using health IT to meet NPSGs and NPP recommendations Health care organizations are encouraged to submit real-world success stories of using health information technology to meet The Joint Commission’s National Patient Safety Goals or the national patient safety recommendations of the National Priorities Partnership (NPP).

Submissions will be peer-reviewed and considered for inclusion in the Stories of Success! program as case studies. Stories should show the link between improvements in health care quality and patient safety and health information technology.

The project is sponsored by the Health Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and co-sponsors American Society for Quality (ASQ), the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), and the National Patient Safety Foundation (NPSF).

A representative from the National Quality Forum (NQF), The Joint Commission, and NCQA will serve on the case study review group. For more information or to submit an application, visit the HIMSS Web site .
